Milwaukee SPE Summer Classic 2008 – July 14, 2008

Wayne Vander Zanden and Pete Kambouris, Milwaukee SPE Social Co-Chairs say, “We would like to welcome you to join us at the Annual Golf and Fishing Outing our Section is hosting at Mequon Country Club (www.mequonclub.com) on Monday, July 14th. It’s truly a great time to share with customers, friends and colleagues. For those that do not golf, you can charter a boat and fish on Lake Michigan. We all join together in late afternoon for a social hour; enjoy a nice dinner, with awards and prizes that follow. If you have not been at our event, give it a try… you will be glad you did. The 15th Annual SPE-Detroit Section Material Auction Recap
Thanks again to the SPE-Detroit Section for allowing the Chicago Section to participate in their annual material auction. The event was an overwhelming success and the Chicago Section netted $1500 from a donation by JM Polymers. Thanks to Don Root (Uniplas, Material Auction Chairman) and the Detroit Section BOD for offering us this opportunity. We’ll see you again next year!
2009 SPE Material Auction

The Chicago SPE is proud to announce it’s 3rd Annual Material Donations Drive as we participate in the 2009 Detroit Section Material Auction.
But, we are not waiting until 2009… we are seeking material donations now!

This fund-raising effort is critical to the funding of the SPE efforts "To promote and provide knowledge and education of plastics and polymers worldwide". The auction proceeds are used for scholarships to students seeking degrees in polymer related fields, travel expenses for students presenting papers at ANTEC, support of SPE National scholarships, and many other functions that promote the growth of the industry.
This is a great cause – we appreciate your support! The Chicago Section is extremely fortunate to have such generous companies supporting our mission.
